Sofie Appel

Sofie is currently pursuing her Master’s in Data Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Before continuing her education, she taught high school math for four years in Denver and Aurora Public Schools, where she worked with a wide range of students and learning styles. Sofie has always had a passion for making math accessible and engaging, and she enjoys helping students build confidence in their problem-solving skills.

At Bright Minds, Sofie is excited to continue sharing her love of math by providing personalized support that meets each student where they are. She strives to create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters curiosity and a growth mindset.

Outside of teaching and studying, Sofie enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors!
