Sophia Giarrusso

6-12 & College Tutor

Sophia has nine years of experience working with students to develop a deep understanding of math, science, reading, writing and other subject areas. She strives to cultivate a love for learning in all of her students, especially students who do not easily fit into traditional educational environments.

Sophia studied at Cornell University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Economics and the Neuropsychology of Learning. During that time, Sophia was an outdoor education instructor in professional tree climbing and recreational rappelling. She is currently studying to earn her Doctor of Psychology in School Psychology at the University of Colorado, Denver.
