Marrisa Harries

Marissa has been teaching for over 20 years, teaching preschool through grade 5 in the Denver Metro Area. She currently works as a 1st grade teacher, but has experience in all elementary grades including being a teacher in an online 4th grade program. Her passion for teaching and love for learning has led her to pursue a B.A. in Biological Sciences and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology Applications in Education. Additionally, she holds a Professional Teaching License in Elementary Education K-6 and has a strong understanding of curriculum and instructional practices.

Outside of work, Marissa loves to read, write, bike ride, go antiquing, and spend time with her family, but most of all, she loves learning and sharing this learning with my students!
